I have been bad about posting again. Here are pictures from September and October.
Emma's class went on a field trip to a working farm. I figure you know you live in a city when your field trip is a farm and everyone is thrilled. The kids went on tractors to pick vegetables out of the fields. Lilia was Emma's partner for the day.
This was all the stuff Emma picked and brought home (except the white pumpkin).
Making the little gourds prettier with glitter.
Emma and Anna making cookies.
Emma and Elizabeth as cats and then rolling down the hills at the park.
This is from the Sock Hop at school. Emma wouldn't dress up in 50's clothes (of course).
Scoping out the tons of butterflies on the lavender plant.
This coyote was in our green space (maybe 25 feet from the house) one morning about 10
Emma doing homework and showing off her Gold Rush polo.
Working intently on her puzzle magazine
Trip to see Grandma and Grandpa in Wyoming. Digging carrots and parsnips with Grandma.
Checking out the water depth in the creek.
Grandpa's tractor.
The giant Bugs Bunny is at a local restaurant in Casper. I only had the little camera so he got truncated!
Neria, happy in the sun.
Painting homework words.
The biannual dentist check-up.
Very cool dental prize.
All the awesome spider stuff for Halloween from Grandpa Dan.
Emma couldn't sleep. She was too keyed up waiting for Halloween!
Cheetah, of course.
Muffins for the school party.
We went trick-or-treating downtown. Emma didn't want to go to any houses after that so she maybe went to 10 stores total.
Awesome (her words) black widow balloon!
Halloween dinner at Noodles.
The loot.
Carving the cat (what else?) pumpkin
Election Day. Coloring her electoral map as they called the states. She only made it until 8 p.m. though. School night.
Why my printer prints crookedly sometimes.
First snowy day today so Emma can wear her turtleneck (kitty) dress!
