It has been awhile again, sorry. There was no school Wednesday through Friday. I took off Thursday and Friday and actually had time to take some photos. Here is what we did while Beau was gone.
Saturday we went to the garden center to take a few costume photos. We also picked up two pumpkins since our first ones froze. I wasn't willing to carve them but we agreed on painting them.
Sunday we went to Dumb Friends League and got two new kittens! They came home Monday night after surgery. They are Macey (black) and Penny. The first is just after her bath!
Penny is shy so that is why there are fewer photos of her. They are both 4 months.
The snow started Wednesday. This is Thursday morning. Still snowing.
I put this in because I have never seen snow that is actually blue in the shadows. This snowfall was. See in the curl? Weird.
Thursday afternoon. Yes, the snow is up to her waist (almost).

Friday morning. It finally stopped.

This poor guy found a snow cave that leads under our deck. He popped in and out all day, much to the cats' delight.
Went sledding at the school hill. "Sledding is so much fun, it is worth all the work to climb the hill!"
And took advantage of their snowy playground
After lunch, we went to Build-a Bear.
And then she wanted to get her hair cut off! It is still wet in these pictures but it is a little shorter than she was thinking. It will be nice for tangles, though!
